Tech Roundtable Meeting 2/22/23

February 22th 2023 Tech Roundtable Meeting

Minutes

Lon Hosford presented setting up the WordPress Plugin that generates blog posts. The name of the plugin is “AI Engine: ChatGPT Chatbot, GPT Content Generator, Custom Playground & Features” and a link is listed in the chat links below.

All the post content created using the plugin was fairly impressive. Two posts were generated from group input. One was a humorous post entitled “Seniors Falling Up The Stairs”. The other was called “Battery Fires in EVs”. Lon had generated a post before the meeting entitled “ChatGPT Security”.

To use the plugin an account with open.ai was required to acquire a secret API key for the plugin to work.

Also some time was spent exploring the open.ai’s back end in an effort what could be learned. We explored the open.ai playground examples. One was Text to command and another was Translate programming languages.

Working with these examples, we found that the playground generates Python, node.js, JSON and curl code to put into your own open ai project.

Also there was some discussion on the worries of ChatGPT and on a lawsuit going on about Apple watches.
